To strengthen our team in the Czech Republic, we are looking for an Operational Buyer (m/f/d) to support us in Nýrany as soon as possible.  Are you ready? Ready for a job that is more than just a job. In a team that knows all the ropes. Then get ready for a squeaky-clean career at WashTec.

Tasks

Do you excel in managing procurement processes, including tendering, evaluating, and negotiating offers for serial production needs? Then you are the perfect fit for our team!

  • Managing the operational procurement of mechanical and electrotechnical components, assemblies, and services.
  • Obtaining and comparing offers, negotiating prices, and processing orders.
  • Ensuring timely material availability in close cooperation with materials planning, production and logistics.
  • Monitoring delivery dates and actively managing supplier relationships, including handling reminders and follow-ups.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining and updating material master data and price lists in the ERP system (SAP).
  • Supporting the optimization of procurement processes and cost reduction measures.
  • You will work in close coordination with the technical department regarding modifications or new inquires.
  • Actively participating in supplier selection and evaluation.

Your Profile

  • A successfully completed commercial or technical apprenticeship, ideally with further education in procurement (e.g., Purchasing Specialist, Technician).
  • Several years of professional experience in operational purchasing, preferably in mechanical or plant engineering.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and standard MS Office applications.
  • Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, and a keen cost-awareness.
  • You demonstrate an independent, structured, and team-oriented work style.
  • Fluent in English or German, both languages would be a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.
