Aufgaben

Do you excel in managing procurement processes, including tendering, evaluating, and negotiating offers for serial production needs? Then you are the perfect fit for our team! Because this awaits you:

  • Managing the operational procurement of mechanical and electrotechnical components, assemblies, and services.
  • Obtaining and comparing offers, negotiating prices, and processing orders.
  • Ensuring timely material availability in close cooperation with materials planning, production and logistics.
  • Monitoring delivery dates and actively managing supplier relationships, including handling reminders and follow-ups.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining and updating material master data and price lists in the ERP system (SAP).
  • Supporting the optimization of procurement processes and cost reduction measures.
  • You will work in close coordination with the technical department regarding modifications or new inquires.
  • Actively participating in supplier selection and evaluation.

Anforderungen

What do you bring with you?

  • A successfully completed commercial or technical education, ideally with further education in procurement (e.g., Purchasing Specialist, Technician).
  • Several years of professional experience in operational purchasing, preferably in mechanical or plant engineering.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and standard MS Office applications.
  • Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, and a keen cost-awareness.
  • You demonstrate an independent, structured, and team-oriented working method.
  • Fluent in English or German, both languages would be a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.
